All of the 2015 tournaments are back on the schedule, plus the Cleveland Croquet Club will add the Cleveland Open to the mix for the weekend of June 11-12, 2016. The Cleveland Croquet Club is located near Cleveland, Missouri, on State Line Road. More details will be provided at a later date.
Monday, September 21, 2015 at 8:15AM BELTON, MO -- The MCA capped its third season of the Nine Wicket Series with a wild weekend of play at Markey Park in Belton, Missouri. Dylan Goodwin took the Pro Championship with a 17-13 win over Greg Clouse in a hard-fought final, but with four divisions and the Six Ball Open Championship on Friday night there was plenty of hardware to go around.
Deborah Millican probably had the biggest weekend as she took the Six Ball Open Championship in an epic Friday night battle under the lights, then followed that with a 20-11 win in the Gold Championship over Bill Berg claiming both the Gold Shield and overall Gold Points race with 208 points on the season. Bill Berg was second in the Gold Points race with 193 points.

LEAWOOD, KS -- Each year, the MCA headquarters springs into action after the final MCA 9WS regular season event and begins the invite process for the MCA Championship. For those not familiar with the format, MCA members that qualify in the top event of each division (12 in Bronze) get free entry into the championship. Non-members that qualify can still pay a fee to participate in the event. In addition, the MCA will offer a single-elimination Six-Ball Championship on Friday evening (September 18) that is free for members and open to all players with a $10 entry fee.
Sunday, January 25, 2015 at 10:17AM LEAWOOD, KS -- The Midwest Croquet Association has confirmed that the third edition of the MCA Championship will be held on September 19, 2015. The MCA is still finalizing details for a venue and expect to make an announcement in February.
MCA President Dylan Goodwin also indicated that the event may also include play on Friday afternoon and evening to accommodate the six ball championship that runs alongside the event.
"With the accelerating growth in entries overall, the six-ball event really became an afterthought at the 2014 Championship," said Goodwin. "It's a fun segment and I think we want to build on it. We are going to look at some time on Friday first and then possibly Sunday."
Sunday, September 14, 2014 at 9:10AM BELTON, MO -- The second annual MCA Championship was held yesterday in Belton, Missouri with Matt Griffith taking the MCA Pro Championship with a 26-19 win over Jason Johnson. It was Griffith's second straight tourney win and he is now riding an eight-game winning streak and is undefeated in MCA play.
The overall Pro Race standings remained unchanged as Dylan Goodwin finished with 442 points on a 17-5 record to claim the Goodwin World Media MCA Pro Points race and the top prize of $100. Greg Adams took second with 320 points and a 10-8 record to claim second place and a $50 payout. Ron Millican held third place with 278 points on a 5-11 record and a $30 payout.
