2015 KC Open - Pro/Gold Schedule

PARKVILLE, MO -- The 2015 Kansas City Open Pro/Gold Division will start play at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday morning, August 2, 2015 at the Kactus Creek Croquet Club in Parkville, Missouri. The Pro/Gold event will utilize two five-player blocks (see schedules below) with the top two players from each block advancing to the Pro Playoff (3:30 p.m). The third and fourth place players will go to the Gold Division playoff (3:30 p.m.). The Championship games are scheduled for 4:45 p.m. Fifth place players will be eliminated from playoff play.

Greg Clouse and Matt Griffith have first round byes to start the day, but all players have a bye during the day.

The event will be played on two modified nine-wicket courts carved out of a single six-wicket court. (See Diagram on the KC Open Event Page)

The event will be the last chance to get points for the 2015 MCA Championship to be held September 18-19 in Belton, Missouri. The top eight players in both the Pro and Gold Divisions will qualify respectfully for the MCA Pro and Gold Championships.

FEES: $15 for MCA Members | $25 for non-members | Entry fee does not include lunch, but there is a refrigerator on site to store lunches and a grill available for players to use.

The Pro/Gold Division follows standard USCA Nine Wicket Rules with the following options: 1 - Deadness, 1B - Clearing Deadness regardless of score, 2 - Out of Bounds3 - Starting Deadness, 4 - Wiring (MCA RULE), 5 - Blocked Wicket, 6 - Rover Play and 8 - Overtime Play. Regarding #8, the MCA will continue rounds until a winner is determined.
