The MCA blog is introducing an occasional series of player tips from and for players of varying skill levels. Darin Watson takes the first swing:

I think learning to “stalk” the ball before a shot really helped me improve. It’s a simple step, but it definitely helps. I like to start about 10-15 feet behind the ball and walk in line with the shot I’m planning to take, and I visualize myself making that shot. Visualize the shot, walk up to it confidently, and make it.
