2018 MCA Championship: Brackets, Schedules Set

Parkville, Mo.—Eight Pro Division players and five Gold Division players have one more shot to take home some 2018 MCA Nine Wicket Series prizes this Saturday at Kactus Creek Croquet Club.

Results at the MCA Championship tournament will determine tournament winners and runners-up as well as the winners of the season-long points races.

Gold Division

The Gold Division will take the courts in the morning. The first game, at 8:30 a.m., is a play-in game between Cade Millican and Jim Ratzlaff.

Ellie Griffith, Justin Marciniak and Brevin Millican have first-round byes. Their first games are scheduled to start around 9:45.

The Gold final is scheduled for 11 a.m.

Pro Division

After the Gold dust has settled, the Pro Division will start a full slate of quarterfinals at approximately 12:20 p.m. Pro play will culminate with the final round at 3 p.m.

More Information

The MCA asks that all players arrive 30 minutes before their first game.

As a reminder, Kactus Creek has a refrigerator, grill and plenty of courtside seating for spectators.

Lunch will not be provided.
